Title: Everybody Slips on Ice

1. FROZEN. Weekend gross- $31,616,230

To start off I will say. I saw Frozen and LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! It definitely deserves to do well in the box office. And look, it is! I really don’t think that it’s getting a huge boost from the 3D, I think people are just impressed by all the good reviews on Frozen. Especially how people are saying that Frozen is the next Lion King. So overall if this gets kept up I think that Frozen will gross about 205 million domestically.

2. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. Weekend gross- $26,185,886

Even thought this is Catching Fire’s 3rd week I’m surprised that Frozen passed it up. But the movie has already done amazingly well so, no worry’s! I’m going to cut this short and say that I think Catching Fire will gross a total of 375 million domestically

3. OUT OF THE FURNACE. Weekend gross- $5,220,288

This movie will probably bomb total. Even though it had a 22 million budget. Just because it opened with 5 million and probably won’t stay there for a long period of time like Avatar and it’s 72 million opening. Overall the movie might total about 10 million domestically.

4. THOR: THE DARK WORLD. Weekend gross- $4,811,545

I’m sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of reviewing the second Thor movie. Even though this is my 3rd week. I’m just tired of reviewing it. So i’ll just say I think it’ll gross about 200 million.

5. DELIVERY MAN. Weekend Gross- $3,742,544

This movie hasn’t done the best. BUT. It apparently just made it’s money back. Which isn’t too poopy. So good for them. I’ll just tell you that i’m surprised at this movies weekend grosses. It went from 7 million to 6 million to 3 million. Most movies don’t do that. But to wrap this whole review up I’ll say that I think it’ll gross 30 million domestically.

Title: Surprises, surprises, Frozen surprises

1. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. Weekend gross- $74,179,601

To start off I will say that I like this movies slow drop in numbers. It’s doing pretty good. This Movie is still getting that boost from IMAX too. So far it’s grossed a total of $317 million and although I said it would probably gross around $415 million last week, I think it will only total $390 million.

2. FROZEN. Weekend gross- $67,391,326

It’s opening weekend and Frozen gave a surprise to everyone. Every place said it was going to make less than Tangled and maybe even go below the 40 million mark. But it soared over everyones exceptions with $67 million. I think it’ll total over it’s 150 million budget with about 185 million at the moment.

3. THOR: THE DARK WORLD. Weekend gross- $11,085,296

Well that was a slow drop. It slowly slipped from $14 million to 11. That’s what I call hanging on. Last week I was confident on it was going to make at least $225 million but now I’m not so confident on that number. I think it’ll make $215 million. Partly because it has only totaled $190 million at the moment. Hopefully it gets kicked out of the top 3 this weekend though.

4. THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY. Weekend gross- $8,172,920

The Best Man Holiday. This movie has done surprisingly well for a lot of people too. So far it’s totaled $65 million. That’s pretty darn good for a $17 million budget. To shorten this up I will just say that I think it’ll total $80 million at the most which is just like last week.

5. HOMEFRONT. Weekend gross- $6,915,241

BOMB! Ish. This movie came out on a very crowded cinema weekend. So of course it didn’t do very well. It also has an R rating and doesn’t have the 3D or IMAX effect so, that din’t help. But it had a $22 million budget so if the company is lucky at all. The movie might reach $20 million.

There is now no other important box office information. So just keep a look out for new reviews.

Walking With Dinosaurs Trailer 2 Review

Image

In case you didn’t know. I really want to see this movie!!!!!!!! And this is a movie that I think would be really cool in 3D. Which does not come in with some other movies.

One thing I think is kind of weird though is, little Patchi’s (Main Dino) voice. It just sound so weird.

But to shorten this review i’m just going to say I still want to see this pretty bad, and in 3D.

Box Office November 22nd-24th

First if you’d like to see the Weekend results then go to boxofficemojo.com or boxoffice.com

Okay, I am starting a new series of reviews, they are weekend box office reports. So I thought I could start it with a huge franchise release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Which is a sequel to the original Hunger Games movie in 2012.

Title: Hunger wins the Box Office Game

1. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. Weekend gross- $158,074,286

Although This movie only passed the first ones opening weekend gross by 6 million it still did amazingly well. Apparently the movie broke the all time November box office record! Since it has a wonderful box office boost from IMAX I think the film will total around $415 million even though it’s doing better then the first one at the moment.

2. THOR: THE DARK WORLD. Weekend gross- $14,196,302

This is Thor 2’s 3rd weekend in the box office and it managed to still yank on people’s wallets. The Movie went down pretty fast from it’s 1st to 2nd weekend but has still made lots of money because of it’s 85 million debut. I think the movie will total about $225 million total

3. THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY. Weekend gross- $12,490,920

For a debut of 30 million dollars I think 12 million is pretty good for a second weekend. Especially for a movie like this and it’s whole drama comedy romance thingy. So far, over the week and stuff the movie has grossed an estimate of 58 million, so I think it could maybe just maybe reach the 80 million mark

4. DELIVERY MAN. Weekend gross- $7,944,977

Buena Vista needs a new release date. The movie had a small debut but that’s because it opened on the same weekend as Catching Fire, a MEGA franchise. If it was on a loner weekend it would of probably made at least 15 million, but at this moment people are seeing Catching Fire. Overall I think this movie will hit the 20 million mark at the very most.

5. FREE BIRDS. Weekend gross- $5,363,208

I was part of that weekend! I was dissapointed but I’m not writing a review. I’m actually surprised how slowly Free Birds is going down in numbers. It went from 15 million to  11 million to 8 million and now to 5 million. Most movies don’t do that. But it still won’t do that amazing because the numbers are very small unlike something like Gravity or Avatar. I think it’ll total just about 60 million which is just over it’s budget!

Other important box office information:

The Book Thief expanded to 70 Theaters! It also grossed $609,652 with this expansion. Which is very impressive for 70 cinemas. Frozen was released into 1 screen and grossed a little over $100,000 which again is impressive. Lots of details that I would explain but I’m not going to right now. Keep watch for the 29th-31st review and reviews for trailers such as The Lego Movie and Walking with Dinosaurs.

Frozen Trailer 3 Review

Image

I loved the second trailer but then the third pushed it. They pushed the film to hard with making it a musical in the first place. Of course I thought that it was a fine song and stuff but then the trailer said “The Best Musical Event Since The Lion King”. The lion king was amazing in every spectacle and I don’t think it can ever be passed up. So in that case I don’t think Frozen will be that good.

I also did laugh a lot in the second trailer but that didn’t come in with the third one. Except for a few funny things here and there.

But this film does still look pretty cool in other ways. Like the visual effects in elsa’s snow. It’s not as cool (Ya get it “Cool” because it’s snow) as Rise of the guardians with the sandman and frost visuals but it looks pretty awesome to me.

I will still be seeing this because although it pushed it, I WANT TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Peabody And Sherman Trailer 1 Review

Image

Mr. Peabody and Sherman is about a Dog (Mr. Peabody) who has a boy (Sherman) as a pet. Nothing could go wrong! But one day Sherman uses a time machine in the wrong way so Mr. Peabody, Sherman, and a girl that apparently hates Sherman, have to go and rewrite history.

This movie looks like it has some pretty bad animation quality’s in the poster but that is not true. This movie actually looks pretty well done in many ways. That includes the story, voicing, animation, visuals, music, sound, and some others that I could name.

Another thing that looked appealing were the funny lines. I chuckled at a lot of parts and then laughed out loud at maybe one.

I also love dream works animation so I will be seeing this no matter what. It looks great.
